Ring Terminals
Ring terminals feature a circular end with a center hole designed to
secure wires to terminal posts or studs using a screw or bolt. These electrical terminals come with vinyl, nylon, or heat shrink insulation, that are color-coded based on wire gauge size. The vinyl-insulated versions provide cost-effective, general-purpose protection. Nylon-insulated variants offer higher temperature resistance, greater durability, and a semi-clear housing that allows users to see if the wires are fully inserted and properly crimped. Heat shrink-insulated options include nylon's benefits plus protection from moisture and other environmental hazards provided by the tight seal formed through heat shrinking.
