Grade 5 Hex Head Cap Screws Bright Zinc
Grade 5 cap screws are marked with three radial lines on the head. This identifies them as medium carbon steel with a minimum tensile strength of 120,000 PSI (pounds per square inch). Grade 5 bolts can be used for any application where high tensile strength is not required, and can be used for bolting on fenders, running boards, etc. Zinc plating meets the American Automotive Standard of 100 hours of continuous salt spray without red rust.
